I've been making this smoothie for years and I don't think I'll ever switch because it tastes great and I like all the benefits of the ingredients. It's also easier for me to have all these ingredients on hand at all times so I'm always ready to make one.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup frozen spinach (or 1 cup fresh spinach or kale)
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
- 1 Tablespoon ground flaxseed
- 1 Tablespoon peanut butter powder (or 1 Tablespoon natural peanut butter)
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I use Openfit Plant-Based Protein Shake), optional
- 1 portion of collagen powder, optional
- 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 3/4 cup water
Instructions
1. Add ingredients to blender and blend until smooth. (I add them in the order listed above for optimal mixing in my Ninja Nutri Pro Compact Personal Blender)
2. Optional: Add more Greek yogurt if you want the smoothie to be thicker. Add more water if you don't want it as thick.
